Girl survives, defying doctor predictions

BETHANY, Okla. -- A 2-year-old metro girl is beating the odds. She survived being crushed by a dumpster in a freak accident last October. And her parents say it's nothing short of a miracle that she's alive.

October 20, 2011, Keely Webb and her 5-year-old sister, Aryn, were playing near a dumpster.

Aryn went to swing from the handle and somehow the dumpster came crashing down on top of her sister.

"It hit Keely on the forehead, knocked her back and landed on her legs. And I couldn't move fast enough to get over there," Keely's father, Jacob Webb, said.

Her mother, Randi, performed CPR on her until paramedics arrived to transport her to the hospital.

"They told us you've got 48 hours and it's not looking good because her brain was swelling to the point where it was pushing down into her spine," Jacob said.
