The small community of Prague welcomes everyone to celebrate the birthday of the town and its Czech heritage at the 54th annual Kolache Festival on Saturday, May 4.

Come enjoy the festivities featuring beautiful and elaborately decorated Czech costumes, folk dancing, polka bands and food.

Art show promises "Uganda or Bust"

OKLAHOMA CITY—A local group will be putting their art on display for all to see while raising money for children half a world away.

The “Uganda or Bust” art show will feature artwork by Desmond Mason, Adam Jones, Trent Lawson, Tony Westlund, Sam Douglas and Anthony Pego.

Guests will also be treated live music by Stranded at the Station and Casey Joseph.

Visitors can also hear stand up comedy from Spencer Hicks at the show.

The proceeds from the event will benefit Jack Fowler’s trip to Uganda to work at St. Monica’s School.

The "Uganda or Bust" art show will be held Saturday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. inside Twisted Roots Gallery.
