OBU opens new graduate school in OKC | Business

Officials at Oklahoma Baptist University will be hosting a grand opening ceremony of the graduate school's new campus later this week.

The celebration will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the new campus, located at 3800 N. May Ave. in Oklahoma City.

“We are very proud to show off our new campus facilities,” said Dr. Scott Harris, director of the OBU Graduate School. “Our new location allows us to continue expanding our graduate programs as we open the next chapter of the OBU Graduate School story.”

The OBU Graduate School will now be located in the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma building in May.

The school offers a master's in business administration degree and a master's in nursing education degree.

Officials say new programs in energy management and global nursing began in August.

The event is free and open to the public.
