Stolen vehicle recovered, suspect on the loose

OKLAHOMA CITY — A stolen vehicle is now back in its owner’s custody after officers found it on the northwest side of town.

It happened about 1 a.m. Tuesday when an officer noticed a suspicious vehicle around the area of Pioneer and May.

When the officer ran the vehicle tag it came back stolen.

The officer followed the vehicle for about four blocks.

Police say the driver parked the car in an empty lot and fled the scene on foot, leaving behind a female passenger.

Police say the passenger did cooperate with authorities.

She was released after questioning.

She was allowed to leave the scene in a taxi.

Officers set up a perimeter around the area of NW 29th and Brookline while K9 units searched for the driver.

Police were unable to locate the driver of the stolen vehicle.

Del City Police chase suspect, make arrest

DEL CITY, Okla. — Neighbors in the area of S.E. 44th St. and Sunnylane Rd. in Del City first noticed suspicious activity about 6:45 a.m. Monday.

Neighbors said a man was lurking in the area, walking through yards and into residents’ garages.

Del City Police responded to find the man crouched under a vehicle, hiding from authorities.

“When he saw us he fled on foot,” Officer Brad Cowden said.

Brian Bates, a.k.a. The Video Vigilante, spotted the suspect walking out of his neighbors garage.

He also called 911.

“I chased the guy. He got hung up on the fence and then a very small pistol fell out of his waistband or pocket. I decided it wasn’t worth anyone getting shot or killed and I backed off,” Bates said.

Police eventually arrested 29-year-old Bruce Duncan.

Neighbors say shooting likely gang-related

OKLAHOMA CITY — A possible gang shooting left one teenager dead in the street Sunday night near N.W. 105th St. and Western Ave. 

Neighbors said 15-year-old Richard Morales was shot after he was seen arguing with other young men at a nearby gas station.

“The other young men went somewhere, got some weapons, then came back,” neighbor Antione Cutler said. “Then [Morales and his friend] were walking home…that’s when he got gunned down.”

Oklahoma City Police do not have anyone in custody and have not released any suspect description.

Dozens of neighbors in the community showed up to the scene as officers cordoned off part of N.W. 105th St.

Monday morning, only blood and roses were left at the scene.

Some neighbors told us the shooting was almost certainly gang-related.

Woman sets sister on fire, flees

MOORE, Okla. — Police are looking for Aiasha White, 31, out of Temple, Texas.
An arrest warrant has been issued for aggravated assault after police say White doused her sister with gasoline and set her on fire.
Investigators confirm she was in Moore, Oklahoma Sunday evening between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Police say White is driving a gray or silver Dodge Stratus 4-door car.

Mother speaks after daughter unharmed in Amber Alert

NORMAN, Okla. — A little girl is back home with her mother after she was at the center of an Amber Alert earlier this week.

Police captured the 3-year-old girl’s father Wednesday evening at a Norman apartment complex more than 24 hours after fleeing Shawnee with his daughter.

Chasity Almon was not injured in the kidnapping her.

Her mother talked about the emotional ordeal.

“I mean, the excitement when I first saw her, going from I’m never going to see her again to holding her, it’s amazing,” Kimberly Bristow said.

Thursday a judge set Robert Almon’s bond at $110,000.

The frightening abduction began when officers showed up this week at Almon’s home to serve an arrest warrant.

The father fled taking his daughter and another child with him.

Tulsa man arrested on child porn charges

TULSA, Okla. — Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Tulsa man on several complaints related to child pornography.

Bryan Lancaster, 45, is accused of soliciting at least one young girl and exposing himself via computer images on two occasions.

Tuesday morning OSBI agents along with Tulsa Police Officers served Lancaster a search warrant and seized several computers, cell phones and a thumb drive from a home in north Tulsa where he was staying with a friend.

Lancaster was arrested on two counts of Soliciting Sexual Communication or Conduct with a Minor by Use of Technology, two counts of Indecent Exposure, one count of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
