Film makers from across country flock to deadCENTER
OKLAHOMA CITY – The deadCENTER Film Festival executive director said he knew this was going to be their biggest year yet after just hours into the festival.
Lance McDaniel said they sold out seven showings the first day, a new record for the blossoming film festival.
McDaniel said he hopes the rest of the event follows suit.
Film makers from across the country are in the heart of the United States, Oklahoma City, this weekend to show their latest productions.
Louisiana native, current Los Angeles resident, Blayne Weaver, said he has been coming to the festival basically since its inception.
Weaver said this festival feels more like a family reunion to him and the familiar faces and support keep him coming back.
