Residents of Oklahoma love their pets, and many times those animals become like family. A local organization has designed an event to celebrate those bonds between humans and their pet counterparts.

In response to recent attacks throughout the state by vicious dogs, the city council of Del City will be discussing policies that might need to be put in place to prevent any attacks from coming within city limits.

Residents in Edmond are being asked to take a small piece of their day and help the City of Edmond's Animal Welfare shelter.
